Ahh this cartoonish style is so cute! And look at them, being silly and adorable, especially Jane, makes me feel even more sorry for her. Also I like the details and bright colours, bring more joy and cheerfulness to the artwork~

You realize that Jake was trying to fix this situation when he thought something was wrong and was aware of it, and despite missing her birthday-which was wrong but understandable due to the circumstances of fighting for their lives-and talking too much, he was trying to make amends. Jane overreacted, saw things as a asshole in areas where he was not and she knew that, and otherwise was rather unreasonable.

Love the pic, and love the party. But I'm gonna say that Jane very much made the mistake here.

But then again, her built up anger was only SPARKED into a full blown rage because of this particular situation. Her reaction was not only based on that one moment, it was based on every moment before that Jake made her upset but she kept quiet about it.
So Jane wasn't exactly overreacting, she just lost control over her built up anger.

ANYWAY, the artist didn't ask for a debate over the situation, so let's just focus on the art itself shall we?

Fair enough. I just thought it was something that should have been discussed, and it doesn't seem like anyone is doing it, taking a blanket statement for Jane's side when there is more nuance.

But your point is made; I really do like the artwork.
